Also re-issued by Season Of Mist (in digipack format) in 2005. This version has
a 13 second interlude after the track 'Gorgoroth'.

12" vinyl released by Agonia Records in 2005, limited to 1000 copies (same
cover-art as the Season Of Mist re-release).

Re-released in 2006 by Back On Black Records as gatefold LP, including a signed
guitar pick by Infernus with each copy.

The album was produced by Gorgoroth and mixed by Gorgoroth and Herbrand Larsen
in Bergen and mastered by Infernus and Thomas Eberger in Cutting Room, Stockholm
in April 2006. The drums were recorded in Lydriket Studio in Bergen in January
2005 (Engineer: Geir Luedy). The guitars and bass were recorded in Steel
Production's studio in Spydberg in May 2005 (Engineer: Svein Solberg). The
vocals recorded in Earshot Studio in Bergen in March 2006 (Engineer: Herbrand
Larsen).

Ad Majorem Sathanas Gloriam has been released in a limited edition digipack on
Regain Records. This edition features slightly modified cover art and a bonus
DVD which includes the uncensored version of the "Carving a Giant" video not
previously seen on MTV or YouTube as well as "The Making of Carving a Giant"
documentary. More information on the release is available via Regain Records'
website.

The title is Latin for "For the Greater Glory of Satan". It is a parody of Ad
Maiorem Dei Gloriam ("For the Greater Glory of God"), the motto of the Society
of Jesus, conceived by Infernus after having read an article on the
counter-reformation and the Jesuits. This is so far the only Gorgoroth album not
to have any titles and lyrics in Norwegian.

The artwork used is from the painting Dante and Virgil in Hell by
William-Adolphe Bouguereau.
