This is the "first release" of Pantera's non-glam rock material. They took a
different approach on this album compared to their prior work, writing about
rebellion, depression, violence and so on.

Funny fact: Pantera themselves have said that "Cowboys From Hell" is their
first official release. They used to deny having a glam rock past and
disregard that they have had four prior releases.
